    What does my business need to be compliant?

    If you’re a processor of animal products for human consumption in any of the Australian states, it’s likely you’ll require a Food Safety Plan or Programme (FSP).

    Secondary processing activities are Transport and Storage Facilities used to export products.

    The rules and agencies differ slightly between the Australian states, however, they are all connected to the National authority which is the Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment. 

    Along with a Food Safety Plan, a sound knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and the ability to apply its principles and applications is necessary.

    A robust FSP will ensure your end product is fit for its intended purpose.

This ensures the manufacturing process matches the process methods, critical limits, rules, and regulations of the FSP.

    Need to Make a Major or Minor Change?

    We can update and modify your existing FSP when there is a change to ensure all systems and procedures reflect the new process. 

    Any changes need to be submitted for evaluation and registration and we manage this process for you.
